Christmas Wonderland Parade

Christmas Wonderland Parade
Ocean Road
5:00pm to 6:15pm

What can we say about this event! Well, basically it's not to be missed!

The theme for this new-look spectacular is a phoenix rising from the ashes, demonstrating optimism and happiness for the future in a post-covid world.

Delivered in conjunction with the team behind the Summer Parade, Creative Seed, it will be an unforgettable evening of joy and festive spirit. A heart-warming experience for all the family to enjoy after many challenging months.

A fantastic evening is in store

It will feature amazing illuminated structures, stilt walkers, dancers, street entertainers and members of our lovely community who will create a stream of light and cheer as the parade makes its way along South Shields' Ocean Road to Haven Point.

The parade will also feature the impressive Spark! Drummers, with energetic performances all set to different lighting effects, before the evening finishes with a spectacular fireworks display at the seafront.
