Feast at South Shields Market

An exciting street food festival will be coming to South Shields at the end of September.

Feast at South Shields Market is a special two-day event, which will take place on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 September, where you can enjoy quality food and drink and family-friendly entertainment, all in the scenic surroundings of a traditional market square.

From 12midday to 8pm, an area of South Shields Market Square will be transformed into a mini festival setting with a grassy seating area, bar, street food vendors and a stage where performers will provide entertainment as you tuck into delicious street food, or while browsing fantastic bargains at the market stalls.

South Shields Market Square already hosts two great weekly markets on Fridays and Saturdays from 9am to 3pm, so why not pop along to the general market to grab a bargain before enjoying the entertainment and street food during Feast at South Shields Market.
