Summer Festival
 The
spirit of South Tyneside is nowhere better experienced
than in the annual Summer Festival with
3 months of fabulous FREE fun and entertainment
for all ages and tastes.
 The
Festival runs over June, July and August and starts
off with the colourful opening parade. The Sunday Spectaculars
feature a selection of big name bands in Bents Park
on the Seafront, attracting big crowds. During the school
holidays there are parties hosted by Tommy the Trumpeter,
Street Entertainment and Saturday fun days.
