These galleries can help with a wide range of primary and secondary curriculum topics including: the Victorians, Dark, Portraits and many more. Numeracy, literacy and citizenship can all be taught using the Museum and it is also an invaluable resource for study of Leisure and Tourism topics.

The Museum's extensive programme of art, natural and social history and science exhibitions, allows even more scope for teachers and group leaders.

There are also opportunities for groups to become involved in the work of the Museum, working on special projects and displaying their own work in the Old Foyer Gallery.
