Ristorante Bravi, a firm favourite in South Shields, will be taking part in Restaurant Week.

Menu available througout Restaurant Week except Sunday lunchtime, 6 October.


Chicken liver pate, served with port & orange sauce and toasted focaccia

Goat's cheese fritter served with caramelised pear & watercress salad, aged balsamic & honey dressing

Traditional vegetable minestrone soup served with freshly baked bread

Mixed mushrooms sautéed with garlic, chilli, confit tomatoes and fresh herbs, served on toasted bruschetta with freshly grated grana padano cheese


Grilled sea bass, prawn & chorizo garlic butter, creamed potatoes

Escallops of chicken breast sautéed with mediterranean vegetables, pancetta, garlic and chilli, served with sautéed potatoes

Medallions of pork fillet, green peppercorn & mushroom cream sauce, served with french-fries

Lobster filled ravioli, white wine, parsley and prawn cream sauce (also available as a starter on this menu)

All main courses (except ravioli), are served with a side of fresh market vegetables
