John Archer worked as a semi professional comedy magician for a decade before turning professional 13 years ago.
Since then he has won many awards both in the UK and abroad, including being named the Magic Circle Stage Magician of the Year 2008.
He also won the opportunity to open for world-famous magicians Penn and Teller at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas after bamboozling the duo on ITV show Penn and Teller - Fool Us in January 2011.
As well as being a top class performer John has also written and appeared in several television shows, including Undercover Magic (Sky 1), The Sketch Show (ITV) and Give Us a Clue (BBC1)
John's comedy is brilliant, fresh and fast, yet it takes absolutely nothing away from the serious mystery of what it is he is performing. In fact quite often the comedy - such as his famed blindfold routine -adds to the impossibility of the demonstration.
Those who think that comedy and mentalism can't be weaved together have clearly not seen John Archer perform.
