The Customs House
The Customs House, with its theatre, cinema, art gallery and excellent cultural development programme, has become the centre for artistic and cultural life in the local area.
With a fantastic range of year-round exhibitions, events, shows and plays on offer you'll find that visiting The Customs House is a great way of bringing learning to life for school and group visitors.
They have some great facilities there too, and although The Customs House is housed in a beautiful listed building built in the 1860s it offers modern comfort, especially following a major recent refurbishment.
The venue provides a focus for creative arts development for young local people both within the statutory education system and the more informal setting of The Customs House through a number of sessions.
Dance, drama, creative writing, and music are just a few of the skills young people can learn through the numerous fantastic projects that are operated by The Customs House.
